Do you breathe hospitality? Do you like nothing better than pampering guests? For our new restaurants in Valkenburg we are looking for hospitality coppers who want to offer our guests a wonderful experience.

Koonings

At Koonings, experience and hospitality are key. Besides helping you find your dream dress, wedding suit or party outfit at the world’s largest bridal store in Deurne, we pamper our guests in our beauty salon and in our restaurants. Every day, both national and international guests here say “YES” to the outfit for one of the most special days of their lives.


Hard work is underway on the next step of our new dream, “The Wedding Castle” in Valkenburg. In addition to a beautiful new bridal store, it will also house a beauty salon, two restaurants and a hotel. This will allow us to make the experience and hospitality even more special and complete. The hotel and restaurants will offer a high level of hospitality and be a real gastronomic experience for our guests.

About this position

For the restaurants and terraces in Valkenburg we are looking for someone who breathes hospitality. You know better than anyone how to pamper our guests and give them an unforgettable experience. You do this by means of wine pairing. You are the expert when it comes to wine and are always looking for the best combinations and wines for our restaurant. You love to give advice about this to our guests. You also enjoy passing on your knowledge to the wait staff. It is no problem for you to jump in as waiter here and there if necessary.

Profile

You are a passionate wine connoisseur with in-depth knowledge of different wine varieties, regions and wine-food combinations. In addition, you are communicative and able to convey your knowledge to guests and colleagues in an accessible way. You have an eye for detail, are service-oriented and work both independently and as part of a team.

Who are you?

  • You have a diploma/certificate from an accredited wine training program.
  • You have relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
  • You have a service and customer-oriented outlook.
  • Your regular working days and hours are by mutual agreement.
  • You are collegial and spontaneous.
  • We receive many international guests and therefore in addition to the Dutch language, we also master German and English.
